easy pine bark stew

" __Julia Child "Cooking is a creation." __Piero Selvaggio "'Tis an ill cook that cannot lick his own fingers." __William Shakespeare ______________________________________Easy Pine Bark Stew Ingredients: 8 ounces bacon, diced and cooked 'til lightly browned 5 large potatoes, peeled and diced 3 [14oz. sized] cans stewed tomatoes 3 medium onions, cut in wedges 2 quarts water 3 pounds skinned catfish fillets, cut into 1-inch pieces 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper Instructions: 1) Combine the cooked bacon, potatoes, stewed tomatoes, onions and water in a stew pot. 2) Bring to a boil then cover and simmer for 2 hours. 2) Add the catfish, tomato sauce, salt and pepper, and simmer for 20 minutes more.
