It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." __Harriet Van Horne ______________________________________Dill Buttered Carrots Ingredients: 8 carrots, peeled and sliced into 1 inch pieces 1/2 cup water 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon white sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon dill seed Instructions: 1) Combine carrots, water, butter, sugar, salt and dill seed in a heavy, medium sized saucepan. 2) Bring to a boil then reduce heat. 3) Cover and simmer for twenty-five to thirty minutes, 'til the carrots are tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
