baked asparagus with cheese

" __Julia Child "Cooking is a creation." __Piero Selvaggio "'Tis an ill cook that cannot lick his own fingers." __William Shakespeare ______________________________________Baked Asparagus Ingredients: 1 teaspoon butter 1 lb cleaned asparagus, minus the bottoms 3 tablespoons water 2/3 cup grated swiss or parmesan cheese 5 tablespoons pine nuts, sauteed in oil 1 tablespoon olive oil Instructions: 1) Preheat oven to 350�. 1) Melt the butter in an ovens-safe pan that has a lid. 2) Put the asparagus in the pan with all the tips facin' in the same direction. 3) Add water and cover. Steam for 2 minutes over medium heat. 4) Remove asparagus from heat and sprinkle cheese over the top. Sprinkle the pine nuts over the cheese, then dribble olive oil over the nuts. 5) Bake uncovered for five minutes.
