" __Julia Child "Cooking is a creation." __Piero Selvaggio "'Tis an ill cook that cannot lick his own fingers." __William Shakespeare ______________________________________Brown Bread Ingredients: 1/2 cup molasses 1 cup whole milk 2 cups whole wheat flour 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon bakin' soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup chopped walnuts Instructions: 1) Preheat oven to 350�. 2) Combine molasses and milk in a large bowl. 3) In a separate bowl, mix both flours, sugar, bakin' soda, salt and nuts. 4) Stir dry ingredients quickly into liquid ingredients, mixin' just 'til blended. 5) Pour batter into a greased loaf pan. 6) Bake for fifty to sixty minutes.
