3.) Add eggs 2 at a time and beat well. Set aside.

1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

1.) Sift these three dry ingredients together. Set aside.

1 stick butter or margarine
2/3 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon of milk

1.) Cream butter or margarine, sugar, and vanilla, then add milk and beat mixture well.
2.)Add eggs and beat well.
3.) Add dry ingredients gradually and mix well.

1.) Grease a 9x13x2 pan.
2.) Pour in the cake mixture, spreading evenly over the bottom and the sides of the pan. Don't worry if it looks to you like their isn't much cake batter. The recipe calls only for enough to spread over the bottom and sides of the pan.
3.) Then pour in cream cheese mixture and bake in an oven heated 325 for 1 hour.
4.) Remove cake from oven and top with the following mixture:

1 1/2 cups sour cream
White sugar to taste
2 teaspoon vanilla

1.) Thoroughly combine the sour cream, sugar and vanilla.
2.) Spread mixture over the top of your cake and return it to the oven for 5 more minutes.
3.) Then remove cake from oven and cool well before cutting.
4.) Top with with strawberries, blueberries, or cherries if you want to, or just eat it plain! This is an ideal cake to make when you've got a lot of folks comin' over, on account of it's so rich you can slice it up pretty small. It's rare for somebody to eat more than one little piece, especially if you add berries.
