Butter Batter Bundt Cake

Ingredients for cake:
3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon bakin' powder
1/2 teaspoon bakin' soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 eggs

Instructions for cake:
1) Preheat oven to 325�. Grease and flour a 10" bundt pan.
2) In a large bowl, combine the flour, 2 cups sugar, salt,
bakin' powder, and bakin' soda.
3) Blend in the buttermilk, 1 cup of butter, 2 teaspoons of vanilla,
and 4 eggs.
4) Beat thoroughly.
5) Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for sixty minutes,
or 'til a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
5) Prick holes in the cake while still warm and slowly pour on
the butter sauce.
7) Let cool before removin' from the pan.

Ingredients for butter sauce:
3/4 cup white sugar
1/3 cup butter
3 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions for butter sauce:
1) In a saucepan combine the 3/4 cup sugar, 1/3 cup butter,
2 teaspoons vanilla, and the water.
2)Cook over medium heat, 'til completely melted and combined,
but be careful not boil.
