Green Bean Chowder

Ingredients:
1 (9 ounce) package frozen French-style green beans
1 cup chopped carrot
1 cup chopped, peeled potato
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 teaspoon dried savory, crushed
1/4 teaspoon dried dillweed
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups water
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2 cups milk

Instructions:
1) Partially thaw beans, chop and set aside.
2) In a 3-quart saucepan, combine carrot, potato, green bell pepper, savory, dillweed, salt and pepper.
3) Stir in water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer
for 10 minutes.
4) Add beans and continue cookin' for five to ten minutes,
or 'til vegetables are tender.
5) Blend sour cream and flour together in a medium-sized bowl.
6) Add 1 cup of the hot vegetable mixture to the sour cream mixture
and blend, then pour the combination back in the saucepan.
7) Stir in milk and heat 'til slightly thickened. Do not boil!
