oatmeal brownie cookies

" __Julia Child "Cooking is a creation." __Piero Selvaggio "'Tis an ill cook that cannot lick his own fingers." __William Shakespeare ______________________________________Oatmeal Brownie Cookies Ingredients: 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate 1/4 cup butter 2/3 cup corn syrup light 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/4 teaspoon salt 4 cups oatmeal, the old fashioned kind 2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly pack 1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped additional 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate 1) Preheat oven to 350�. 2) In a two quart saucepan, stir the chocolate and the butter over low heat 'til the chocolate melts. 3) Remove from heat and stir in the corn syrup, eggs, and salt. 4) In a large mixin' bowl, combine oatmeal, brown sugar, and walnuts. 5) Pour chocolate mixture over dry ingredients and combine thoroughly. 6) Drop by tablespoons full on greased cookie sheets. 7) Bake for fifteen minutes. 8) Cool five minutes on cookie sheet before removin'. 9) Melt the remainin' four ounces of semi sweet chocolate and dip the top half of each cookie in it. Allow chocolate to set before servin'.
