Quick 'N Spicy Beans 'N Dumplin's

Ingredients:
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup yellow cornmeal
1 teaspoon bakin' powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg white, beaten
1/4 cup skim milk
2 tablespoons cookin' oil
3/4 cup water
1 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 [15 ounce size] can garbanzo beans, drained
1 [15 ounce size can] kidney beans, drained
1 [15 ounce size] can tomato sauce
1 [4 ounce size] can diced green chili peppers, drained
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon water

Instructions:
1) Combine flour, cornmeal, bakin' powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt,
then set aside.
2) In a separate bowl, combine egg white, milk, and cookin' oil,
then set aside.
3) In a large skillet, combine water, onion, and garlic,
then bring to a full rollin' boil.
4) Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about five minutes,
or 'til onions are tender.
5) Stir in the garbanzo beans, kidney beans, tomato sauce,
green chili peppers, chili powder, and 1 teaspoon salt.
6) In a small bowl stir together cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water.
7) Stir cornstarch and water into bean mixture.
8) Cook 'til slightly thickened and bubbly, stirrin' constantly.
9) Reduce heat and simmer while you make the dumplin's.
10) Add eggwhite and milk mixture to cornmeal mixture,
stirrin' 'til just combined.
11) Drop batter from a tablespoon on top of the hot beans.
12) Cover and simmer for ten to twelve minutes, or 'til a toothpick inserted into the center of the dumplin's comes out clean.
