" __Julia Child "Cooking is a creation." __Piero Selvaggio "'Tis an ill cook that cannot lick his own fingers." __William Shakespeare ______________________________________Fine Flounder Stew Ingredients: 1 large onion, diced 2 cups celery, diced 3 large potatoes, peeled and diced 3 1/2 cups water 1 and 1/2 pounds flounder, chopped 2 cup broccoli, chopped 2 cups cauliflower, chopped 1 cup mushrooms, chopped 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon marjoram, crushed 1/2 teaspoon basil, crushed 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 cups milk Instructions: 1) In a large, deep skillet, boil onion, celery and potatoes in water for ten minutes. 2) Add flounder, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, marjoram, and basil. 3) Combine flour with milk in a bowl, then slowly add to soup mixture while stirrin' continuously. 4) Reduce heat and simmer for twenty-five to thirty minutes.
