Cherry Brownies

Ingredients:
8 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter
1 and 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon bakin' powder
1/4 teaspoon teaspoon salt
1 [12 ounce size] jar of cherry preserves,
homemade are best, but store bought will work just fine

Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 350 �. Grease a 9x13" bakin' pan.
2) Melt chocolate and butter together in a saucepan.
3) Combine white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract
in a large bowl.
4) Beat 'til just blended.
5) Stir in the chocolate mixture.
6) Stir in flour, bakin' powder, salt and cherry preserves.
7) Turn the batter into prepared pan and bake for forty to
fifty minutes or 'til the browines just start pullin' away from the
sides of the pan.
8) Cool completely before cuttin'.
