" __Julia Child "Cooking is a creation." __Piero Selvaggio "'Tis an ill cook that cannot lick his own fingers." __William Shakespeare ______________________________________Almond Carrot Saut� Ingredients: 2 and 1/2 tablespoons margarine 2 pounds carrots, sliced 1/4 cup apple juice 1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 tablespoons chives 1/2 cup almonds, sliced salt to taste Instructions: 1) Heat margarine in a large skillet. 2) Saut� carrots over medium heat, stirrin' frequently 'til they're tender, but still crisp. 2) Add apple juice and continue to saut�, stirrin' constantly 'til it's been absorbed. 3) Stir in the lemon juice, chives, almonds, and salt. 4) Serve hot.
