It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." __Harriet Van Horne ______________________________________Becca's Brownie Pie Ingredients: 1 unbaked 9" pie shell 1/2 cup margarine 3 squares [1 ounce each] unsweetened chocolate 1 cup white sugar 1/3 cup light corn syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup flour 3 eggs, slightly beaten Optional toppin's: vanilla ice cream whipped cream chocoloate sprinkles maraschino cherries Instructions: 1) Preheat oven to 425�. 2) Melt margarine and chocolate squares in a saucepan over low heat, stirrin' constantly. 3) Remove from heat and add the sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, salt, and flour; stirrin' 'til thoroughly blended. 4) Mix in eggs and pour fillin' into unbaked crust. 5) Set the pie on a bakin' sheet and bake for five minutes. 6) Reduce heat to 350� and bake for twenty five to thirty minutes. 7) If desired, garnish each slice of pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a dollop of whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, and a maraschino cherry.
