spicy shrimp 'n pasta

It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." __Harriet Van Horne ______________________________________Spicy Shrimp 'N Pasta Ingredients: 2 cups heavy whippin' cream 1 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme 1 tablespoon fresh chopped basil 2 teaspoons salt 1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper 1 teaspoon ground white pepper 1 and 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes, crushed 1 cup chopped green onions 1 cup chopped parsley 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 pound dry fettucine pasta Instructions: 1) Cook pasta in a large pot of salted water 'til al dente. 2) While the pasta is cookin', pour the whippin' cream into large skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 'til it almost reaches a boil. 3) Reduce heat, and add the thyme, basil, salt, peppers, green onions, and parsley. Simmer just 'til thickened. 4) Stir in the shrimp and cook 'til it's no longer transparent. 5) Stir in cheeses, blendin' thoroughly. 6) Pour shrimp sauce over cooked, drained pasta and serve.
