Bean 'N Potato Salad

Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 pounds small red potatoes
3/4 pound small green beans, rinsed clean and trimmed
1 small sweet onion, chopped
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
Vinaigrette Dressin' [recipe below]
salt
fresh ground black pepper

1) Prepare the vinaigrette, followin' the instructions below.
2) Steam the potatoes 'til tender in a large pot over medium-high heat.
3) Remove the potatoes from heat, cool, then cut into quarters.
4) In a pot of boilin', salted water, cook the beans 'til crisp-tender,
about five or six minutes.
5) Remove the beans from heat, drain 'em, then put 'em in
a bowl of ice water to cool.
5) Once the beans are cool, drain 'em and cut 'em in half.
6) In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, beans, onion, and basil.
7) Add the vinaigrette and toss 'til well coated.
8) Season with salt and pepper as desired.

Vinaigrette:
Ingredients:
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
dash of Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
coarse kosher salt
fresh ground black pepper

Instructions:
1) Whisk together the vinegar, garlic, lemon juice,
Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, and mustard.
2) Season with salt and pepper as desired.
3) Cover and refrigerate 'til ready to use.
4) Warm to room temperature before usin'.
