It should be entered into with abandon or not at all." __Harriet Van Horne ______________________________________Log Cabin Salmon Ingredients: 1/2 cup maple syrup 3 tablespoons soy sauce 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 pound salmon Instructions: 1) Thoroughly combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, garlic salt, and pepper in a small bowl. 2) Put the salmon in a shallow bakin' dish and coat with the maple syrup mixture. 3) Cover the dish and marinate salmon in the refrigerator for thirty minutes. Turn fish over, recover, and marinate thirty minutes more. 4) Preheat oven to 400�. 5) Transfer the dish to the oven and bake for twenty minutes, or 'til the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
