No-Bake Berry Cheese Squares

Ingredients:
2 cups finely crushed pretzels
1/2 cup white sugar, divided
2/3 cup butter, melted
12 ounces of cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons whole milk
1 cup Cool Whip, thawed
2 cups boilin' water
1 large package [8 servin' size] strawberry Jell-o
1 and 1/2 cups cold water
4 cups of fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 350�.
2) Combine the crushed pretzels with 1/4 cup of white sugar
and 2/3 cup melted butter.
3) Firmly press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of
a 9 by 13 inch bakin' pan.
4) Bake for ten minutes, then cool completely.
5) Beat together the cream cheese, 1/4 cup white sugar,
and the 2 tablespoons milk 'til thoroughly blended.
6) Gently stir in the thawed Cool Whip.
7) Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust
and refrigerate.
8) In a large bowl, add the 2 cups boilin' water to the Jell-o
and stir 'til the Jell-o is completely dissolved.
9) Stir in 1 and 1/2 cups cold water.
10) Refrigerate the Jell-o for an hour an a half --- or 'til it's thickened to the point that a spoon drawn through it will leave a clear impression.
11) Stir the sliced strawberries into the Jell-o.
12) Spoon the Jell-o mixture over the cream cheese layer.
13) Refrigerate for four hours.
14) Cut into squares prior to servin'.
