Yogurt Apple Pie

Ingredients:
6 cups apples, peeled and sliced ---
any variety of apples suitable for bakin' will do
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1 tablespoon shortenin'
unbaked top and bottom crusts for a 9" pie

Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 375�. Prepare crusts.
2) Put apple slices in a large bowl.
3) In a separate bowl, combine sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
4) Sprinkle cinnamon mixture over apples and toss
'til thoroughly coated.
5) Add the yogurt, stirrin' gently 'til apple slices are well coated.
6) Turn the fillin' into unbaked pie shell.
7) Dot the top with shortenin'.
8) Moisten the edge of the pie shell with warm water.
9) Lay on the top crust, then crimp the edge and cut a pattern of slits
so steam can escape.
10) Lightly cover edges with foil, then bake for one hour.
11) Cool prior to servin'.
