Lemon Bread

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 and1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon bakin' powder
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 lemon peel, grated
1 lemon, juiced
1/4 cup sugar

Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 350�.
2) Cream together 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter and 2 eggs in bowl.
3) Sift together dry ingredients.
4) Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture along with lemon peel
and combine thoroughly.
5) Bake in greased loaf pan for 45 minutes.
6) Combine lemon juice and 1/4 cup sugar.
7) Drizze over warm loaf while still in the pan.
8) Let stand for fifteen minutes before removin' from the pan.
