Pecan Raisin Cake

Ingredients:
1 and 1/3 sticks butter
2 and 1/4 cups sugar
6 eggs, separated
4 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons nutmeg
4 cups pecans, broken
4 and 1/2 cups raisins
1/2 cup whiskey

Instructions:
1)Preheat oven to 275�.
Cream butter and sugar together.
2) Add beaten egg yolks.
3) In a separate bowl, combine flour and nutmeg.
4) In a third bowl, coat the pecans and raisins with part of the sifted
flour and nutmeg.
5) Alternately add the rest of flour along with the whiskey and
the egg whites to the butter mixture.
6) Add nuts and raisins.
7) Bake in a fruit cake or bundt pan for two hours.
