Chocolate Crackles

Ingredients:
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon bakin' powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup sifted confectioners' sugar

Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 350� --- after dough has chilled for three hours.
2) Melt the chocolate chips then combine with the brown sugar
and vegetable oil.
3) Add the eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.
4) Stir in the vanilla extra.
5) Combine the flour, bakin' powder and salt.
6) Add flour mixture to the chocolate mixture.
7) Stir in the chopped walnuts.
8) Chill dough for at least three hours.
9) Grease cookie sheets.
10) Drop teaspoonfuls of dough into a bowl of confectioners' sugar
and roll to coat.
11) Place cookies on cookie sheets.
12) Bake for ten to twelve minutes and cool on wire racks.

*Note: these cookies tend to get eaten up so quick,
I usually double or triple the recipe.
