Cousin Neva's Corn Cake

Ingredients:
2 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon bakin' powder
1 teaspoon bakin' soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 [17 ounce size] can creamed corn
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 350�. Grease a 9x13" cake pan.
2) Thoroughly combine flour, bakin' powder, bakin' soda, salt,
and cinnamon in a large bowl.
3) In a separate bowl, beat together the corn and both sugars.
4) Beat in the oil and the eggs 'ti well blended.
5) Add the flour mixture to the corn mixture and blend well.
6) Fold in the raisins and chopped nuts.
7) Spoon batter into prepared pan.
8) Bake for thirty to thirty five minutes, or 'til the cake tests done.
9) Cool in pan on a wire rack.
10) Ice when cool.

Brown Sugar Icin'

Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup whole milk
2 to 3 cups confectioners' sugar

Instructions:
1) Combine sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan.
2) Bring to a boil, stirrin' frequently.
3) Remove pan from heat.
4) Gradually add confectioners' sugar 'til the icin' is of proper
spreadin' consistency.
