True Blue Dixie Peach Tart

Ingredients for crust:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
5 tablespoons margarine
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 pecans, fine chopped

Ingredients for peach layer:
3 cups peaches, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon corn starch
1 tablespoon butter

Ingredients for blueberry layer:
4 cups blueberries
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon corn starch
1 teaspoon lemon juice
a dash of cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter

Instructions:
1) Combine the flour and sugar in a bowl.
2) Work in the margarine 'til the mixture is crumbly.
3) Add the egg, almond extract, and chopped pecans,
mixin' 'til just combined.
4) Press crust into the bottom of a 9 inch tart pan.
5) Chill crust for about thirty minutes, then bake at 350�
for fifteen to twenty minutes.
6) Cool on a wire rack.
7) In a saucepan, mash the peaches with the sugar, lemon juice,
and corn starch.
8) Cook over medium heat for about five minutes, or 'til thick.
9) Add butter and stir 'til blended.
10) Cool peach mixture, then pour into cooled crust.
11) In a saucepan, mash 2 cups of the blueberries with the sugar,
corn starch, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
12) Cook over medium heat for about ten minutes,
or 'til berry mixture is translucent.
13) Stir in the butter and the remainin' 2 cups of whole blueberries.
14) Cover peach layer with blueberry mixture.
15) Leave in pan and cool before servin'.
