" __Julia Child "Cooking is a creation." __Piero Selvaggio "'Tis an ill cook that cannot lick his own fingers." __William Shakespeare ______________________________________Zucchini Burgers Ingredients: 2 large zucchini, grated 2 medium sized carrots, grated 1 cup old fashioned oat meal 1/2 cup wheat germ 1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs 1 to 2 cups brown rice, cooked 1/2 of a good sized onion finely chopped 2 stalks celery, diced with tops 1 clove garlic, minced butter or cookin' oil for saut�in' 1 to 2 eggs, to achieve the proper consistency salt and pepper to taste cheese of your choice, grated sesame seeds flour Instructions: 1)Saut� onion, celery and garlic in butter or cookin' oil 'til soft. 2) Combine onion mixture with remainin' ingredients except the grated cheese, sesame seeds and flour. 3) Flour a cuttin' board and form patties. 4) Sprinke the top of each one with sesame seeds. 5) Saut� in butter or cookin' oil with sesame seed side down. 6) Sprinkle tops with more sesame seeds. Flip when browned on the bottom. 7) Sprinkle tops with grated cheese and cook 'til it melts. 8) Garnish as desired with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc. before servin' on whole grain buns.
