Blackberry Bliss Cake

Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar
1 cup butter, softened
4 eggs, beaten
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon bakin' soda
1 teaspoon bakin' powder
1 cup buttermilk
1 and 1/2 cups fresh blackberries
Icin' ***

Instructions:
1) Preheat the oven to 350�.
2) Grease and flour three 8 inch layer pans.
3) Cream the sugar and butter 'til light and fluffy.
4) Add the eggs to the creamed mixture and beat well.
5) Thoroughly combine the flour, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon,
bakin' soda, and bakin' powder.
6) Add the dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with
the buttermilk, beatin' 'til smooth.
7) Fold in the blackberries.
8) Pour the batter into the perpared pans.
9) Bake for about thirty minutes, or 'til the top springs back
when gently touched.
10) Remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks.
11) Stack the layers, usin' Fox Crick Icin' to fill and frost.

****Fox Crick Icin'

Ingredients:
1 cup butter softened
1 pound confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons cold coffee

Instructions:
1) Combine all ingredients and beat 'til smooth, addin' a little more coffee if needed to achieve proper consistency.
